The park was built in the mid-1980s. In the tide of reform and opening up, the members of the 7th team of Xiabao Street in the town of Qiongcheng Town were inspired by the tourism industry in the outside world, using the land with low concave water, investing in investment, and building a production team park. It took a year to dig up a 19-acre fish pond, pile up hundreds of meters of lake embankment, build a promenade, a rockery and an ice rink, a bungalow, buy a batch of boats and Haha mirror for tourists to visit. At the same time, the business of raising fish and breeding flowers is carried out. At the beginning, it played the role of “clearing waves in the artificial lake and attracting the public to play together”. The garden was collected and managed by the County Urban Construction Bureau in 1984 and named “Wan Shui Park”. In 1989, the project was rebuilt and expanded, with a total investment of more than 300,000 yuan, reconstruction of rockeries and galleries, construction of lake embankments and walls, and construction. There are four bridges in the rockery, paving the road in the garden; the new “viewing building”, “side test building” and staff rooms have been built to make the facilities in the park more scale. In order to increase the cultural connotation in the park, the relevant departments have also collected a number of characteristics that are tailored to the society, and they are able to make up the landscape of the pavilions and other pavilions. Natural and humanistic, the Wanshui Park has the charm of “leading new talents and gardens”. The People's Government of Yunnan Province, in 1996, was approved as an integral part of the Xuanwei Dongshan Scenic Area in the Scenic Spot of Yunnan Province.
